Details: Job Description Job Description: SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft O365 Administrator (L2 Support) Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our dynamic team specializing in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365 (O365), and related ecosystem technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in SharePoint Online and the broader Microsoft 365 suite, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Technology Distribution SharePoint Online / Server: 65% Microsoft O365 Suite (Core Services): 20% MS Teams, OneDrive for Business, & Allied Services: 15% Key Responsibilities Technical Administration & Architecture Platform Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex, platform-wide technical issues related to SharePoint, OneDrive, and M365 core applications, providing tier-3 engineering support. Client Engagement Communications: Maintain clear, proactive communication with business clients to understand their functional needs, provide engineering updates, and address platform issues effectively. Demonstrations: Participate in client-facing technical meetings to demonstrate platform capabilities, configuration solutions, and gather feedback to improve service delivery. Specialized Core Competencies Governance Knowledge: Deep architectural understanding of M365 information architecture, site taxonomy, managed metadata, tenant security boundaries, and records management compliance. Problem Solving: Advanced ability to diagnose and resolve platform-wide synchronization blocks, tenant routing errors, performance degradation, and data accessibility issues. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of dedicated engineering experience working with Microsoft SharePoint and M365 enterprise technologies. Platform Depth: Strong, deep understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, modern tenant administration, client-side customizations, OneDrive for Business mechanics, and MS Teams integrations. Methodologies: Proven experience aligning with standard IT infrastructure deployment methodologies and operational best practices. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals Good to Have M365 Security & Compliance: Foundational experience supporting Purview, eDiscovery, Information Protection policies, and conditional access settings within a SharePoint context. Migration Expertise: Proven track record of planning, scoping, and managing large-scale data and tenant migration projects using industry-standard tools (e.g., ShareGate, Microsoft Migration Manager). Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in PowerShell for M365 automation, tenant-wide configurations, and complex administrative scripting.
