About the role
The GTO Point of Contact (PoC) for Infrastructure Platforms & Operations will serve as the central coordinator and liaison across multiple technology domains. This role ensures effective communication, alignment, and delivery of services spanning computer operations, compute and storage platforms, middleware expertise, architectural design, obsolescence management, and technological projects. The PoC will act as the primary interface between stakeholders, service providers, and project teams to guarantee operational excellence and successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the single point of contact for Infrastructure Platforms & Operations.
Coordinate and oversee:
Computer Operations – ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations and system availability.
Compute & Storage Platform – managing and supporting enterprise compute and storage infrastructure.
Database & Middleware Expertise – coordinating database administration and middleware support.
Architect Design Liaison – bridging architecture teams and operations to ensure design feasibility and alignment.
Obsolescence Management – monitoring and managing lifecycle of technologies, ensuring timely upgrades and replacements.
Technological Projects – supporting planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure-related projects.
Provide regular updates to leadership on service performance, risks, and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
+5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, and project coordination.
Experience with compute, storage, database, and middleware technologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with ITIL practices or similar service management frameworks is a plus.
