About the role
Job Description – Module Vehicle System Synthesis Manager (VSS)
One voice for all VEHE activities on the project
Own end‑to‑end functional and physical integration of assigned vehicle modules.
Lead design, convergence, and validation activities across all vehicle programs in scope.
Act as the technical integrator between product requirements, system teams, styling, safety, regulation, and manufacturing.
Define, maintain, and control the module technical scope and feature content .
Coordinate and drive cross‑functional engineering teams to meet QCDP targets.
Ensure timely delivery of design, integration, and validation milestones .
Oversee digital and physical validation plans and execution across tech centers.
Ensure regulatory, safety, diagnostics, and compliance conformity.
Lead technical trade‑offs, arbitration, and escalations with CME/CVE.
Report project status, risks, and KPIs to leadership.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Strong background in vehicle systems engineering and system architecture
Proven experience leading cross‑functional engineering teams
Solid knowledge of vehicle validation, V&V, and test execution
Deep understanding of regulatory, safety, NCAP, diagnostics, and compliance topics
Experience managing design convergence between styling, feasibility, and customer needs
Ability to perform technical arbitration and trade‑off decision making
Strong program execution, prioritization, and milestone management skills
Experience with resource and budget planning in engineering projects
Comfortable working in a global, multi‑site development environment
Clear, concise executive‑level communication and reporting skills
