Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Onsite, 3–4 days/week)

Type: 6‑month contract‑to‑hire

Overview:

Seeking a senior, hands‑on Lead Engineer to architect and deliver large‑scale e‑commerce platforms. This role combines technical leadership with active development across Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Java/Spring Boot, and modern front‑end frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design, development, and optimization of customer‑facing commerce platforms.

Architect and enhance core e‑commerce capabilities (catalog, checkout, payments, OMS).

Drive integrations across CRM, booking engines, logistics, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and APIs.

Remain hands‑on with architecture and development (React front end, modern APIs).

Qualifications

• 7+ years software engineering experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership.

• 3+ years Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

• Strong Java/Spring Boot expertise.

• Experience with microservices, SPAs, event‑driven and serverless architectures.

• Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, Kiro AI, Copilot).
