Senior Back End Developer

Position: Senior Back End Developer III – AdTech Focus

Location: Richfield, MN (Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite per week preferred; remote considered)

Employment Type: Contract (7-12+ Months)

Project Scope

Enhance seller-facing campaign management workflows.

Integrate with external advertising platforms (e.g., Criteo) and ad-serving systems.

Implement reporting, spend tracking, and billing event pipelines.

Improve campaign synchronization and product eligibility systems.

Modernize frontend and backend architecture for scalability and maintainability.

Key Skills & Experience

7–10 years of backend development experience.

Strong expertise in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot/WebFlux .

Hands-on experience with microservices and REST API development .

Deep understanding of Kafka and event-driven architecture.

Knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous processing.

Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL/MySQL performance optimization .

Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native applications .

Production support, monitoring, and observability expertise.

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Ability to independently own features/services end-to-end.

Experience building scalable, high-throughput systems.

Bonus Skills:

AdTech domain experience.

BigQuery/GCP exposure.

Reactive programming.

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
