Job Opportunity: Engineer Drive (Application Engineer) Department: Metals Business Unit Location: Hyderabad Experience: 26 Years Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering Job Summary We are looking for a motivated Engineer Drive (Application Engineer) to join our Metals Business Unit. The role involves application engineering, commissioning, and support for LV/MV drive systems used in steel and metals processing plants. The position offers excellent exposure to industrial automation, power systems, and site commissioning. Key Responsibilities Perform application engineering for LV/MV Drives, Motors, and Power Systems.Commission and troubleshoot LV/MV Drive systems at customer sites.Integrate drives with automation systems using communication protocols such as Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet, and Profinet.Work closely with Lead Engineers to ensure engineered solutions meet project specifications.Prepare technical documentation and project-related reports.Follow engineering standards and best practices while supporting continuous process improvements.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Control, Hardware, and Drive Engineers.Travel to customer sites for commissioning and project support (approximately 50% travel).Required Skills Experience in Drive Engineering and Drive Commissioning.Knowledge of Motors, MCC, Transformers, and Switchgear.Understanding of Industrial Automation and Power Systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Good communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to travel on short notice for project requirements.Preferred Skills Knowledge of PLC, HMI, or SCADA.Strong fundamentals of Motors, Control Systems, and Power Systems.Experience in the Metals Industry (Hot Rolling Mill, Cold Rolling Mill, Processing Lines, Bar/Wire Rod Mills).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Visio.What We're Looking For 26 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, drive engineering, or commissioning.Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic project environment.Connect here if intrested Shweta - 9310066412 Email - stemford.recruiter2@gmail.com OR Priyanka - 9810843047 Email - stemford.recruiter4@gmail.com Compensation: 40,000.00 - 100,000.00 per month Application Question(s): What is the CGPA/ Percentage in Bachelor's Degree Education: Bachelor's (Required)Experience: Drives, Motors and Commissioning: 2 years (Required)Work Location: In person .
