Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Manual Testing Location: Thane (W), Mumbai Job Type: Full-Time (Work from Office) Experience: 12 Years Shift: 12:30 PM 9:30 PM IST Job Description : STEP One Step Ahead is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 12 years of experience in Manual Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities : Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases. Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Retesting, and Ad-hoc Testing. Execute test cases and report defects using Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation. Work closely with Developers and Business Analysts to resolve issues. Share daily testing status, defect reports, and project updates. Required Skills : 12 years of Manual Testing experience. Good understanding of STLC and Bug Life Cycle. Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Retesting. Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla. Basic SQL knowledge is an added advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred.
