Product Designer

Role Overview: As a Product Designer at ##Steps AI, you will be responsible for owning the complete design experience, from understanding user problems to shipping polished interfaces. You will primarily focus on designing the web dashboard, chat widgets, and mobile experiences, mapping user journeys, defining information architecture, and creating intuitive flows. Your role will also involve building wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma, collaborating with real customers to validate design decisions, and working closely with engineers and founders to ensure fast delivery and maintenance of a scalable design system. Key Responsibilities: - Own the design for web dashboard, chat widgets, and mobile experiences - Map user journeys, define information architecture, and create intuitive flows - Build wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma - Talk to real customers to understand pain points and validate design decisions - Work directly with engineers and founders to ship fast - Build and maintain a scalable design system Qualifications Required: - 1-3 years of experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role (experience in SaaS or product company preferred) - Strong skills in Figma including flows, wireframes, prototypes, and component libraries - Ability to prioritize user problems over pixels - Capability to balance speed with quality, focusing on quick delivery rather than perfection - Based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate immediately - Portfolio showcasing your design process, not just final screens In addition to the role and responsibilities, as a Product Designer at ##Steps AI, you will have the opportunity to be the first design hire, having a significant impact on every product decision.
