As a Process Engineer for EV powertrain components, your role involves end-to-end process engineering activities, such as line setup, new project industrialization, and process optimization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and global technology partners to ensure robust, scalable, and cost-effective manufacturing processes. - Lead installation and commissioning of manufacturing lines for: - DC-DC Converters - On-Board Chargers (OBC) - Multi-functional units (3-in-1 / 4-in-1 systems including oil pump, air pump, and PDU) - Drive process setup, validation, and stabilization for new and existing production lines - Initiate and execute new projects, ensuring a smooth transition from development to mass production - Collaborate with technology partners (China) for process transfer, technical alignment, and issue resolution - Conduct new project studies, including feasibility, process flow design, and risk assessment - Develop and maintain process documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, PFMEA, and control plans - Plan and ensure availability of resources (equipment, tooling, manpower) in coordination with: - Program Management - Sourcing / Vendor Development - Maintenance - Application Engineering - Drive timely follow-ups to meet project timelines and milestones - Provide ongoing production support by resolving process-related issues and ensuring line efficiency - Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost optimization Key Requirements: - B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering - Experience in process Engineering / manufacturing engineering, preferably in EV / automotive electronics domain - Strong hands-on experience in line setup, commissioning, and process development - Exposure to power electronics manufacturing (DC-DC, OBC, integrated systems) - Experience working with global technology partners - Strong knowledge of process quality tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, SOPs) - Excellent cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills As a Process Engineer for EV powertrain components, your role involves end-to-end process engineering activities, such as line setup, new project industrialization, and process optimization.
