About the role
Role & responsibilities Responsible for the design, review, and delivery of civil and structural engineering works for EHV Power Cable Systems, GIS/AIS Substations, Transmission & Distribution projects, and associated infrastructure. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, quality requirements, safety regulations, and project schedules. Key Responsibilities Design civil and structural works including foundations, control/GIS buildings, cable trenches, RCC ducts, drainage systems, roads, culverts, boundary walls, and steel structures. Perform RCC and structural steel design, foundation design, and engineering calculations. Prepare and review GA drawings, civil layouts, foundation drawings, reinforcement details, BOQs, MTOs, and technical reports. Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, construction, site, client, consultant, and vendor teams. Provide technical support during construction, resolve site issues, and review field modifications. Ensure compliance with IS, BIS, IEC, CEA, utility, and client standards. Support project planning, design reviews, risk assessments, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives. Preferred Experience EHV Underground Power Cable Projects GIS/AIS Substations (132kV, 220kV, 400kV+) Transmission & Distribution EPC Projects Renewable Energy and Utility Infrastructure Projects HDD, Thrust Boring, and Trenchless Technologies Technical Skills AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, Revit Structural Analysis & Design RCC & Structural Steel Design Foundation Design BOQ/MTO Preparation Geotechnical Interpretation Knowledge of IS, BIS, IEC, CEA, and PGCIL Standards
