SAP BASIS & Security Consultant

Job Title: SAP BASIS & Security Consultant Location: Bokaro (Work From Office ) | Experience: 4+ years Who We Are at STL Digital, we don't just build software; we engineer digital transformations. System Administration & Maintenance Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, etc.) Perform SAP kernel upgrades, patches, and system refreshes Manage SAP transport landscape (TMS configuration and transport movement) Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues 2. SAP Landscape Management Manage multi-tier SAP environments (Development, Quality, Production) Perform system copies, client copies, and refresh activities Maintain RFC connections and system interfaces Ensure high availability and disaster recovery setup 3. Performance Tuning & Optimization Analyze system performance using ST02, ST03N, ST06, DB tools Optimize memory, buffer, and workload performance Coordinate with DB teams for database tuning (HANA, Oracle, etc.) 4. Security & Compliance Manage user authorizations, roles, and profiles Perform periodic audits and compliance checks (SOX, ITGC) Implement security patches and vulnerability fixes Maintain audit logs and documentation 5. SAP Upgrades & Migrations Support SAP upgrades (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA) Perform system Unicode conversions and database migrations Plan and execute upgrade downtime activities 6. Monitoring & Troubleshooting Monitor system logs (SM21, ST22, SM37, DB logs) Resolve short dumps, background job failures, and performance bottlenecks Provide root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents 7. Coordination & Support Work closely with functional teams, developers, and infrastructure teams Support UAT, release cycles, and go-live activities Handle vendor coordination and SAP OSS incidents .
