Job Title : Network and Security (L2) Work Location : Gurgaon Experience : 3 to 8 Yrs Job Mode : WFO Responsibilities: We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in firewalls, routing, switching, wireless technologies, and network troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with tools like Wireshark and have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and security best practices. Key Responsibilities Configure,manage, and troubleshoot firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco ASA). Perform L2/L3routing and switching setup and support (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, Ether Channel). Maintain wirelessnetworks (Aruba, Cisco, or equivalent) and ensure seamless connectivity. Use tools like Wireshark and NetFlow for trafficanalysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Monitor network health and proactively address latency, downtime, or performance issues. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing network-related requirements. Maintain documentation of configurations, topologies, and change logs. Technical Skills Required: Hands-on with Firewalls (Fortinet/Palo Alto/Cisco ASA). Proficient in Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF) and Switching (VLANs, STP, HSRP). Experience with Wireless networks – configuration and troubleshooting. Strong skills in Wireshark or equivalent packet analysis tools. Good understanding of LAN/WAN, VPNs, and IP addressing. Good to Have Exposure to cloud networking (Azure/AWS). Familiarity with SD-WAN or ZTNA solutions. Network certifications (CCNA/CCNP/NSE preferred).
