An SAP ABAP Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting custom applications and enhancements within the SAP landscape using ABAP programming. The role involves working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF). An SAP ABAP Consultant ensures high code quality, performance optimization, and compliance with SAP standards while supporting integrations with other systems, handling debugging and issue resolution, and contributing to system upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvements across SAP modules.
