About the role
As a UX / UI Architect at Stolt-Nielsen, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience vision for the company's digital products and platforms. Your responsibilities will include defining design standards, ensuring consistency across the portfolio, and mentoring designers and developers to create human-centered solutions. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to translate complex problems into elegant and intuitive user experiences, from research and user journey mapping to component design and usability validation. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the UX strategy and design architecture across multiple digital products. - Conduct user research, persona development, and journey mapping to deeply understand user needs. - Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that balance aesthetics, usability, and business goals. - Establish and maintain a component library and design system (Figma + Storybook). - Partner with engineering teams to ensure a smooth handoff and fidelity between design and implementation. - Define UX metrics and success criteria using A/B testing and user analytics tools. - Provide mentorship to UX/UI Designers and uphold design quality and standards. - Collaborate with leadership to evolve design governance, guidelines, and accessibility principles. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of professional experience in UX / Product Design, with at least 2 years in a lead or architectural role. - Proven portfolio demonstrating strategic and system-level design work. - Strong proficiency in Figma and knowledge of modern component-based design approaches. - Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG). - Passion for design consistency, usability, and continuous improvement.
