Sr Software Development Engineer

As a Senior SDE at Stozia, you will be an integral part of building a next-generation agentic procurement platform for manufacturers using AI, LLMs, and intelligent automation to streamline sourcing and procurement processes. Working closely with the founder and the founding team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to both the product development and the intelligence behind it. Key Responsibilities: - Building and scaling core product features using Python, PostgreSQL, and APIs. - Designing robust backend systems for a production-grade platform. - Contributing to proprietary AI models and intelligent agent systems for real-world procurement use cases. - Integrating and improving LLM-powered workflows and automation layers. - Rapid prototyping, experimentation, and turning ideas into reliable product capabilities. - Working closely with founders on product, architecture, and roadmap decisions. - Owning modules end-to-end with minimal supervision. - Improving system performance, reliability, and overall product quality. Qualifications Required: - Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills. - Comfortable with ambiguity and able to figure things out independently. - Fast, resourceful, and highly ownership-driven. - Excited about AI, automation, and building products from scratch. - Able to move between engineering rigor and startup speed. In addition to your technical skills, we value your ability to think critically and independently. While we prefer around 3-4 years of relevant experience, we prioritize your technical depth, independence, and ownership over years of experience. You should be proficient in Python, FastAPI or Flask, PostgreSQL/SQL, REST APIs, LLM application development, Git, and Docker basics. Experience with scalable backend systems, production deployments, AI/ML model development, or agent workflows is a bonus.
