SQL DBA

Role Overview: As a SQL Database Administrator (DBA) at our company, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our SQL Server databases. Your main focus will be to ensure database performance, integrity, security, and availability. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases. - Monitor database performance, implement tuning and optimization. - Perform regular backups and recovery operations. - Manage security, access controls, and data integrity. - Automate routine tasks and manage scheduled jobs. - Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and outages. Qualification Required: - Strong knowledge of SQL Server (2016/2019/2022). - Experience in T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. - Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization. - Experience with backup/restore strategies and disaster recovery. - Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS is a plus. - Understanding of indexing, partitioning, and replication. - Working knowledge of Windows Server environments. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
