As a Lead Data Engineer at Stryker, your role involves designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure for collecting, storing, and processing raw data. You will transform this data into usable information for analysis by business analysts within the Joint Replacement franchise. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various internal sources into an integrated data lake - Ensure data timeliness, integrity, and quality by monitoring existing and incoming data - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data processing speed and scalability - Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions - Develop processes for effective data ingestion, quality, maintenance, and automation - Document data sources, flow, systems, tools, and processes - Coordinate with IT to ensure necessary infrastructure support Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline - 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or related field - Deep competencies in SQL, Python, data warehousing technologies, big data technologies, data quality tools, data integration tools, data lineage tools, and data analytics and business intelligence tools - Experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Power BI Suite, Rest APIs (including Power BI), SAP modules, Manufacturing Resource Planning Systems, Medallion Architecture, Cloud-based data ecosystem, RPA/automation tools Stryker, a global leader in medical technologies, collaborates with customers to enhance healthcare outcomes.
