Agile Delivery Manager

Role Overview: As a Technical Delivery Manager at Successive Digital, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end delivery of software projects. Your role will involve ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical goals, and customer expectations. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality software products while maintaining project timelines, budgets, and scope. Key Responsibilities: - Lead cross-functional teams through the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. - Manage all project phasesinitiation, analysis, scoping, estimation, solution design, and executionfor Custom web and mobile applications. - Oversee technical project delivery while ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and client requirements. - Leverage prior engineering / technical experience to provide technical leadership and consulting on project strategy. - Drive quality throughout the project lifecycle by establishing coding standards and implementing best practices. - Lead the QA strategy by ensuring robust testing frameworks and continuous integration practices. - Develop detailed project plans that cover both technical complexities and business priorities, ensuring alignment on project goals. - Act as the primary liaison with clients, providing technical consulting, regular project updates, and managing expectations. - Identify technical risks and dependencies, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure successful project execution. - Maintain governance and oversight to ensure consistent project quality and delivery standards. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a Technical Delivery Manager or Agile Program Management role. - Proven experience in software engineering as a Software Engineer, Tech Lead, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Architect. - Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional Waterfall project management. - Strong consulting skills with the ability to translate client needs into effective technical solutions. - Experience managing large-scale software projects across all phases, from discovery to delivery. - Expertise in ensuring code quality and enforcing coding standards through design and code reviews. - Demonstrated experience in leading quality assurance practices, including both manual and automated testing. - Strong technical acumen with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Client-facing experience with the ability to manage expectations, deliver project updates, and provide strategic technical advice. - Certification in Agile (CSM, PMI-ACP) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2). - Experience with Modern Technology framework, Cloud Technologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks is an advantage. - Prior experience in consulting roles, delivering technical solutions to clients.
