Software Tester

As a Software Testing Engineer at the Sudha Gopalakrishnan Brain Centre (SGBC), your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and accuracy of applications related to brain image analysis, annotation tools, and intelligent systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing end-to-end manual testing with a focus on accuracy and quality - Designing and executing test cases, scenarios, and data based on requirements - Validating brain image scanning workflows, including annotation and cell identification tools - Conducting API testing using tools like Postman - Performing database testing using SQL queries - Validating file system operations and data integrity - Testing and validating LLM-based applications and AI tools - Identifying, logging, and tracking defects - Collaborating with developers and cross-functional teams - Preparing test reports, summaries, and defect analysis Required Skills: - Strong experience in Manual Testing - Good understanding of STLC and SDLC - Experience in API Testing - Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation - Experience in file system and data validation testing - Understanding of LLM testing concepts - Experience using AI tools for testing support - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good to Have: - Basic knowledge of automation testing - Experience with annotation tools or scientific/medical data systems - Exposure to AI/ML-based applications - Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT or related field - Relevant experience in software testing Soft Skills: - Attention to detail - Strong communication skills - Ability to work in a team environment - Quick learner If you are interested in this position, kindly share your resume to meena@htic.iitm.ac.in.
