About the role
As an Automation Test Engineer at SG IT, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation test frameworks using Selenium (Java) & Playwright. Your key responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation test frameworks using Selenium (Java) & Playwright - Building scalable automation suites to ensure product stability & faster releases - Collaborating with dev, QA, and product teams to identify gaps & improve test coverage - Troubleshooting flaky scripts, optimizing performance, and driving CI/CD automation - Ensuring clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices To excel in this role, you are required to have the following qualifications: - 5+ years of strong experience in Selenium with Java - Solid hands-on experience in Playwright (mandatory) - Experience with TestNG / JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/GitLab CI - Strong knowledge of REST API testing & automation - Experience with Page Object Model (POM), hybrid frameworks - Strong debugging skills & ability to think like a user - Excellent communication & problem-solving abilities If automation is your passion and quality is your obsession, SG IT welcomes you to join their fast-growing engineering team.
