About the role
As a Backend Architect cum Hands-on Developer with over 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for architecting and developing scalable consumer-facing applications in a Startup environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - End to end coding, from software architecture to managing scaling of high throughput (100,000) RPS high volume transactions. - Discussing business requirements and timelines with management to create task plans for junior members. - Managing the day-to-day activities of all team members and reporting their work progress. - Mentoring the team on best coding practices and ensuring modules are delivered on time. - Managing security vulnerabilities effectively. - Being a full individual contributor, capable of working both independently and as part of a team. You should have experience in Micro Services, Distributed Systems, and cloud services like AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, Load Balancing, Serverless), as well as Kubernetes. Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js and SpringBoot is required. Additionally, familiarity with databases like MongoDB and PostGreSQL, queuing systems like Kafka, and Agile Scrum methodologies will be beneficial for this role. Your attitude should reflect a passion for tech innovation, problem-solving skills, a GoGetter attitude, and extreme humility and politeness. Previous experience in product companies and managing small teams will be considered a plus. Please note that this is an onsite, full-time role based in the office six days a week.
