Seeking: Senior DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Lead - Equity-Only | Part-Time to Start | Remote India We are building CompliEase - a B2B SaaS platform automating Business Compliance and OSHA regulatory workflows for US businesses. We are a US-incorporated startup (Delaware C-Corp) with an active India-based engineering team and real momentum: pilots lined up, investor conversations underway, and paid revenue on the near horizon. We now need the person who owns everything infrastructure the cloud, the pipelines, the security, the reliability. That person is you. This Is Not a Support Role. We are not hiring a DevOps contractor or a ticket executor. We are looking for someone who will be the infrastructure brain of CompliEase from this point forward - the one who decides how we build, how we deploy, how we scale, and how we stay secure as we grow from early traction to funded company. This starts part-time and equity-only - approximately 1015 hours per week, completely flexible including evenings and weekends. As CompliEase closes its first customers and raises its seed round, this becomes a full-time, fully compensated leadership role with a clear path to Head of Infrastructure. What You Will Own - End to End AWS Architecture Design, build, and own our entire cloud infrastructure. EC2, RDS (PostgreSQL), Lambda, S3, IAM, EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, VPC. Not manage. Own. CI/CD & Release Engineering Build and maintain pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent), Docker containerization, automated deployments, and zero-downtime release processes. Infrastructure as Code Terraform end-to-end. Modules, remote state, environment separation (dev / staging / prod), version-controlled infrastructure. Security & Compliance Architecture IAM least privilege, secrets management (SSM / AWS Secrets Manager), WAF, SSL, vulnerability scanning embedded in pipelines. Critical given we serve regulated compliance markets. Observability & SRE Logging, alerting, on-call runbooks, incident management, blameless postmortems, SLO/SLI framework. Build it from scratch, own it permanently. Cost Governance (FinOps) Right-sizing, spot instances, reserved capacity, cloud cost dashboards. Every dollar saved is equity value preserved. Investor-Facing Technical Credibility Participate in technical due diligence, architecture reviews, and investor conversations where infrastructure scalability and security matter. You Are the Right Person If You have 4+ years of hands-on DevOps and AWS experience you have designed, built, broken, and fixed things in production Terraform is second nature - modules, workspaces, remote state, done properly not copy-pasted You have owned CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, not just contributed to someone else's You have a security-first mindset you do not treat security as someone else's problem You thrive in startup ambiguity no tickets to wait on, no approvals to chase, you decide and you ship You are based in India, available 1015 hours per week to start, flexible on timing You understand what ground-floor equity in a US startup means and find it genuinely motivating You want to lead and grow a team someday, not just remain a strong individual contributor What Is In It For You Meaningful equity stake in SuMeera Solutions Inc.
