Senior Database Tester

Job Title: Senior Database Tester Experience: 8+ Years Location: Pune / Hyderabad / Chennai Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Database Testing Engineer/ Database Tester with expertise in Database Migration Programs and QA Functional Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in database testing within an Azure environment, strong PL/SQL skills, and a solid understanding of database migration processes. Experience with load testing and knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, and Kafka will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Perform database testing for migration programs to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness. Execute functional (UI) testing to validate application functionality and business requirements. Validate data migration using migration tools and perform reconciliation between source and target databases. Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for database and application testing. Write and execute complex PL/SQL queries for data validation and defect analysis. Identify, track, and report defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues. Participate in test planning, execution, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery in an Azure environment. Support performance and load testing activities where required. Must Have Skills Strong experience in Database Testing . Hands-on experience in Database Migration Programs . Strong experience in QA Functional Testing (UI Testing). Experience working in an Azure environment . Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, including writing complex queries and data validation. Good to Have Skills Experience in Load Testing. Knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, and Kafka. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
