As a Senior Programmer/Analyst at the State University of New York, College of Technology at Delhi, you will play a crucial role in the CIS Enterprise Systems team to support the campus achieve its goals. Your main responsibilities will include: - Assessing, designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, and documenting complex computer-based software, programs, reports, functions, packages, scripts, and procedures. - Serving as a department liaison and providing ongoing support to functional departments. - Developing and conducting training sessions for new and existing users. - Planning, prioritizing, integrating, documenting, and deploying solutions, automated applications, and procedures. - Assisting other team members with technical leadership and guidance. - Integrating and supporting external systems and Ellucian Banner. - Recommending changes, enhancements, and solutions to improve program performance and application processing. - Analyzing, identifying, and rectifying program, process, and end-user malfunctions, bugs, or technical issues. - Serving as an administrator for Enterprise solutions and ensuring systems are updated on supported versions. Qualifications required for the role include: - Demonstrated experience in working with end-users to develop and document business requirements. - Experience in developing solutions for software applications and systems. - Three years of experience in developing and supporting SQL queries, packages, and procedures or working with SQL-based languages. - Ability and motivation to stay current and learn technology related to the position. - Ability to build consensus among diverse constituencies regarding complex technology tools. - Experience using PL/SQL and various enterprise-level applications. - Three years of advanced programming experience in multiple programming languages, both procedural and object-oriented. - Experience with Oracle databases. - Demonstrated ability to efficiently work independently and as part of a team. - Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to simplify complex technology concepts. - Demonstrated experience in prioritizing and working on multiple projects and teams simultaneously, as well as writing technical specifications. - Associates' Degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
