Technical Product Manager - FinTech

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and system reliability. You will own backend-heavy products, especially APIs, data services, and platform-level features, and ensure they are scalable, stable, and business-aligned. Key Responsibilities Define and manage the product roadmap for internal/external APIs and core backend servicesCollaborate with engineers to build and refine well-documented, version-controlled APIsDrive decisions on payload structure, auth flows, rate limits, and monitoring thresholdsTranslate business needs into detailed technical specifications and user flowsTrack and improve KPIs around API stability, latency, downtime, and developer experiencePartner with QA, DevOps, and SRE to ensure robust release cycles and rollback strategiesAct as a bridge between engineering and business teams, ensuring alignment and clarity Minimum Qualifications 3+ years in technical product management, preferably for API or infrastructure productsFamiliarity with Python, RESTful API design, and micro service architectureStrong understanding of system reliability concepts, uptime, error monitoring, and root cause analysisHands-on experience with tools like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Jira, and GitComfortable working with engineers, participating in sprint rituals, and writing PRDs/BRDs Bonus Points Experience in FinTech, trading systems, capital markets, or high-volume transactional systemsExposure to FIX/WebSocket APIs, margin engines, or exchange connectivityFamiliarity with observability tools like Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, or ELKBuilt or managed products with compliance, SLA, or security-sensitive requirements Ideal Candidate Traits Technically curious and able to engage deeply with engineering teamsSystems thinker who balances speed with long-term reliabilityProactive communicator with the ability to align cross-functional teams We are looking for a Technical Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and system reliability.
