Job Summary: As a global leader in networking solution innovation, Super Micro Computer's mission is to develop and provide the market with end-to end computing solution and high performance networking products. We have an immediate need for a Hardware Design Engineer to join our talented and bright design team. The candidate will play a key role in the development process of in-house server motherboards, by working collaboratively with cross-functional engineering team as well as outside partners to ensure the robust design of the boards. The candidate must be self-motivated and possess a strong will to do great things, with a result-driven mindset to develop the most competitive and endurance board products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

In-depth knowledge of PCB layout, OrCAD/Allegro tools, circuit design, and PCB structure.

Prepare technical documentation including product specifications, layout instructions, test procedures, etc.

Transfer products to manufacturing with clear documentation and help C.M. and technical support to solve problems.

Hardware engineer need co-working with PM, BIOS, IPMI, EMI, Thermal, ME RD friendly. Need have good team work. Need to have the concept of project ownership.

Need have power VR and component design knowledge

Resolve complicated issues and drive to root cause on critical engineering problems Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of PCB layout, OrCAD/Allegro tools, circuit design, and PCB structure.

Familiar with digital scope and high-speed bus measurement.

A Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience working with x86 server and workstation boards is preferred.

Knowledge of high-speed circuit design and voltage regular circuit design.

Self-motivated team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
