Associate Engineer Mechanical

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Engineer Mechanical to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in industrial automation, manufacturing engineering, production support, and mechanical design. The role involves supporting product development, preparing engineering documentation, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring efficient manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for industrial automation projects. Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation. Provide production and manufacturing engineering support to ensure smooth operations and timely project execution. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, production, quality, procurement, and project management. Support new product development and engineering change management activities. Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement. Work closely with vendors and suppliers for component development, sourcing, and technical evaluations. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations. Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions for production issues. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals. Experience in Industrial Automation and Manufacturing Engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Handson experience in Engineering Drawings and GD&T interpretation. Expertise in BOM preparation and engineering documentation. Experience in Production Support and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of Vendor Development and supplier coordination. Strong problemsolving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced manufacturing environment. Desired Candidate Profile 812 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, automation, or engineering industries. Proven experience in mechanical design, production support, and vendor management.
