Position Title: Infrastructure / DevOps Manager Reporting To: Senior Solution Architect Location: Bangalore Job Description The Infrastructure/ DevOps Manager would play a crucial role in designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining an organization's IT infrastructure. The Infrastructure/DevOps Manager is required to maintain a reliable and efficient IT workplace, and plays a critical role in supporting the organization's business operations and objectives. Requirements Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field - 7-10 years hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management and system administration. - Certifications in networking, security, cloud expertise and virtualisation would be a plus. Key Responsibilities - Infrastructure Design and Planning: Collaborating with other teams, such as software developers, network engineers, and system architects, to design and plan the organization's IT infrastructure. This involves assessing current infrastructure, anticipating future needs, and proposing solutions to meet those needs. - Server and Network Management: Deploying, configuring, and managing servers, both physical and virtual, as well as network equipment like routers, switches, and firewalls. This includes ensuring high availability, performance, and security of these systems. - Cloud Computing: Working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to deploy and manage resources such as virtual machines, databases, and storage. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implementing Infrastructure as Code practices using tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration allowing for scalability, consistency, and version control of infrastructure components. - Security: Implementing security measures and best practices to protect the infrastructure from cyber threats including configuring firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. - Monitoring .
