About the role
Purpose of the Role: To support the technical function for AIG projects by ensuring design coordination, engineering compliance, and technical support during project execution, while maintaining quality, cost, and timeline objectives. Key Responsibilities: Design & Engineering Coordination Coordinate with: Architects, consultants, structural and MEP teams Review: Drawings, BOQs, technical specifications Ensure alignment of engineering deliverables with project requirements 2) Technical Review & Compliance Verify design compliance with: Applicable standards (IS codes, NBC, etc.) Support review and validation of: Structural designs Geotechnical and technical reports 3) Project Execution Support Provide technical inputs to site teams during execution Resolve engineering issues at site level Ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications 4) Quality Assurance & Control Support implementation of QA/QC systems Conduct technical inspections and ensure quality compliance 5) Value Engineering & Cost Optimization Identify opportunities for: Cost optimization Design improvements Support value engineering initiatives 6) Vendor / Consultant Coordination Interact with: Consultants, vendors, and contractors Support technical discussions and approvals 7) Documentation & Reporting Maintain technical documentation (drawings, reports, approvals) Support MIS reporting and tracking of engineering deliverables 8) Risk Identification & Mitigation Identify technical risks and escalate Support resolution and mitigation planning
