Data Visualization Engineer

As a Data Visualization Engineer, your primary role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense. You will collaborate with PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, and Qlik Sense to create compelling data visualizations that ensure seamless data representation and storytelling. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense - Creating compelling data visualizations in collaboration with PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, and Qlik Sense - Ensuring seamless data representation and storytelling through dashboards You will also be responsible for Qlik Sense development and optimization by: - Developing and managing QVF and QVD structures for optimized data retrieval - Implementing best practices in Qlik Sense scripting, data modeling, and performance tuning - Maintaining and optimizing existing Qlik Sense applications Additionally, your role will involve data integration and API interactions where you will: - Utilize basic HTTP APIs to integrate external data sources into dashboards - Work with data teams to ensure smooth data ingestion and transformation for visualization Furthermore, you will need to understand end-to-end data pipelines by: - Collaborating with data engineers to optimize data flows from source to visualization - Ensuring data consistency, integrity, and performance in reporting solutions Your expertise should include: - 2 to 4 years of experience in Data Visualization or BI Reporting roles - Strong experience with Qlik Sense, including QVF & QVD structures, scripting, and visualization - Hands-on experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Looker - Basic understanding of HTTP APIs for data integration - Understanding of end-to-end data pipelines - Knowledge of Python for automation and data transformation - Experience in performance optimization of dashboards and reports - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred qualifications include experience in data modeling and ETL concepts, familiarity with cloud-based data visualization solutions, and understanding of data governance and security best practices.
