Role Description This is a full time remote role for a Security Engineer Penetration Testing, IAM & Backend Development. The Security Engineer will perform penetration testing across applications, APIs, and backend services, identify vulnerabilities, and support remediation with engineering teams. They will design, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, including authentication, authorization, and privilege management for internal tools and customer-facing systems. The role includes contributing to secure backend development, integrating security best practices into microservices and cloud-native architectures, and reviewing code for security issues. The Security Engineer will collaborate with AI researchers and platform engineers to secure data pipelines, models, and infrastructure, while helping define security standards, incident response procedures, and compliance practices. Regular responsibilities include security monitoring, threat modeling, documentation, and continuous improvement of security tooling and automation.
