About the role
Experience Required Minimum 5 years of experience in drainage engineering, preferably in rail or infrastructure projects. Required Skills Must Have Experience in designing drainage systems. Knowledge of drainage design and 3D modelling software. Ability to prepare drawings and models, including DANDAS graph format. Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Knowledge of drainage systems used in railway infrastructure. Experience with hydraulic calculations and sizing of drainage systems. Experience preparing tender documents and technical specifications. Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Experience working with authorities and ensuring compliance with regulations. Background in consulting engineering, contracting, infrastructure ownership, or related industries. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for: Designing drainage systems for railway infrastructure, including: Drains Ditches Retention and attenuation basins Preparing drainage layouts for railway tracks and platforms. Conducting hydraulic calculations and sizing drainage systems. Preparing drawings and 3D models using relevant software tools. Identifying and specifying required site surveys and investigations. Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions. Participating in project planning, quality assurance, and technical reviews. Developing sustainable and climate-resilient drainage solutions. Sharing technical knowledge and supporting team members when required. Projects You Will Work On You will work on a wide range of railway infrastructure projects across Denmark, including: Station development projects Platform construction, reconstruction, and relocation Track renewal projects Drainage systems for railway tracks and platforms Construction of drains, ditches, and retention basins Access and crossing facilities for stations and rail infrastructure. Team & Clients You will be part of the Rail, Bridge & Tunnel department based in Denmark. Projects are carried out across the country with a strong focus on local responsibility and ownership. Main clients include: Public and private railway infrastructure owners Government authorities Other key stakeholders in the Danish rail sector.
