About the role
Role Overview: Shiprocket is a logistics platform connecting Indian eCommerce SMBs with logistics players to provide end-to-end solutions. The innovative data-backed platform drives logistics efficiency, reduces costs, increases sales throughput, and enhances post-order customer engagement and experience. The vision is to support all logistics for the direct commerce market in India, including first mile, linehaul, last mile, warehousing, cross border, and O2O. Key Responsibilities: - Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications that perform at scale - Prepare and maintain applications using standard development tools - Develop backend data services and enhance existing APIs - Ability to work independently in a complex and fast-paced environment - Collaborate closely with Product and QA teams for smooth delivery - Participate in solution designing with Tech leads and Systems Architects - Document the development process, architecture, and standard components - Coordinate with co-developers and keep project manager informed of development status - Stay updated on new trends and best practices in web development Qualification Required: - Great people skills to collaborate effectively with other teams - Strong in establishing systems & processes - Expertise in Laravel or GoLang, MySQL, and Git - Thorough understanding of Object-oriented concepts - Knowledge of restful Web services - Familiarity with web applications - Working knowledge of one or more caching and queuing systems - Excellent problem-solving skills - Positive "Can do" attitude Role Overview: Shiprocket is a logistics platform connecting Indian eCommerce SMBs with logistics players to provide end-to-end solutions.
