About the Role As a Senior Enterprise Architect (Vice President), you'll operate at the fascinating intersection of business strategy and technological implementation. Key Responsibilities Lead enterprise architecture strategy by developing target architectures across business, application, data, and technical dimensions for major transformation initiatives, including AI/GenAI integration Translate business vision into coherent architectural roadmaps, blueprints, and transition plans that align with strategic priorities Drive architectural excellence through reuse, standardization, simplification, and sustainability across the enterprise Serve as lead architect on large-scale, complex programs, providing guidance throughout the entire solution lifecycle Challenge design decisions constructively to safeguard architectural integrity and ensure measurable business value Contribute to governance through active participation in Design Authority processes, ensuring adherence to standards and regulatory requirements Foster cross-domain collaboration by facilitating alignment across functional areas and promoting a unified "one architecture" mindset Build influential relationships with senior stakeholders, communicating complex concepts clearly and providing data-driven recommendations About the Team The Group Enterprise Architecture function at Swiss Re is at the heart of our technological transformation. We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or large-scale transformation roles within global organizations Proven track record defining and delivering target architectures for complex transformation initiatives across business, application, data, and technical domains Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), governance models, and operating models TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification Fluency in English (written and spoken) These are additional nice to haves: Experience in re/insurance or financial services Strong grasp of business capability modeling, application landscape modernization, data architecture, cloud/platform, and AI strategies Experience working in matrixed, global environments with senior stakeholder exposure Clear and compelling communication skills, both written and verbal Comfort operating in ambiguity and navigating complex organizational landscapes We have a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week Experience LevelSenior Level Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
