Infrastructure Software Engineer - Azure Cloud Services

As an Infrastructure Software Engineer at our company, your role involves designing, developing, and managing scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant cloud and hybrid infrastructure systems. You will be responsible for building and maintaining distributed infrastructure platforms across cloud and edge environments. Additionally, you will develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible, automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows, and manage Azure cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and manage scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant cloud and hybrid infrastructure systems. - Build and maintain distributed infrastructure platforms across cloud and edge environments. - Develop and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible. - Create, manage, and enforce infrastructure governance policies using Sentinel. - Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows. - Manage and optimize Azure cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance. - Design and maintain containerized environments using Docker and related technologies. - Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python and Bash scripting. - Build and support event-driven architectures and modern data platform solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security. - Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and system performance issues across environments. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. - Work with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Dagster. - Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational best practices across infrastructure projects. - Support edge computing deployments and optimize hybrid cloud integrations. Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and infrastructure management. - Extensive experience with Terraform and Ansible. - Proficiency in Sentinel policy creation and implementation. - Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies. - Advanced Linux administration and Bash scripting skills. - Strong programming skills in Python. - Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native architectures. - Understanding of edge computing concepts and hybrid cloud infrastructure. - Solid knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, TLS/HTTPS, and routing. - Experience with data orchestration and pipeline tools such as Dagster. - Familiarity with event-driven architectures and data mesh systems. - Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. - Ability to work independently with a proactive go and figure it out mindset. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the Automobile or Manufacturing industry is preferred. - Exposure to Kubernetes and orchestration platforms is an added advantage. - Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools is desirable. - Experience with security best practices and cloud governance frameworks.
