Senior AI Scientist

Role Overview: As a Senior AI Scientist at Synapsica, you will be responsible for computer vision tasks such as developing, customizing, and training Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), applying ML techniques (SVM, regression, clustering), and traditional Image Processing (OpenCV). Your role will be research-focused, involving implementing existing research papers, deep diving into problem analysis, generating new ideas, and automating key processes. Key Responsibilities: - Solve complex real-world problems at scale through computer vision-based deep learning. - Develop custom Convolutional Neural Network Architecture in PyTorch or similar frameworks. - Apply ML techniques and traditional Image Processing for object classification, segmentation, and object detection. - Communicate effectively with project members and stakeholders. - Lead projects, manage teams, plan work, and meet deadlines. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in computer vision-based deep learning. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Python, cuDNN, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, Caffe, or similar frameworks. - Extensive understanding of computer vision and image processing applications. - Experience in GPU, DSP, or other Multi-core architecture programming. - Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and acquire new skills. - Previous Project Management and Team Leadership experience.
