Role Summary/Purpose The IT Systems Analyst will be responsible for development of Digital Solutions on JEE and Cloud technologies. The person will be responsible for Application Engineering plays a pivotal technical role within Synchrony Financial in successfully hosting several client-facing platforms and delivering high-quality solutions on those platforms. Key Responsibilities Lead teams in building new web solutions/platforms and enhancements, working closely with requirements analysts, testers, and the customer in an agile development practiceDevelop functional and technical specifications from business requirementsHelp create project estimates and plans. Represent engineering team in project meetings and solution discussionsEnsure application quality and adherence to performance requirementsResponsible for documentation, code reuse, re-factoring and design patterns standards complianceEnsure of internally developed applications are built with high standards of availability, scalability, and extensibilityWork closely with an experienced staff comprising both Synchrony resources and many vendor technical engineersHelp define measurable goals for the teamCommunicate the status of build projects and other initiatives to stakeholders and leadershipKeep abreast of emerging technologies while maintaining proficiency in existing technologies Required Skills & Knowledge Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, with 3 to 5 years of experience in Information Technology or in lieu of a degree 5 to 7 years of experience in Information Technology3 to 5 years of experience in Java Full Stack development using Java/J2EE technologies and front end technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML and CSSMinimum 3+ years of solid hands-on experience in developing enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, including Web Services (e.g., RESTful, SOAP), Spring Framework and Spring bootAt least 2+ years of hands-on experience building scalable and production-grade applications using ReactAbility to work/understand with CI/CD technologies.Good understanding of SDLC processes (Agile) and release management processesWilling to work flexible shift timings to be able to respond to emergenciesSuperior oral and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Desired Skills & Knowledge Experience with Micro FrontendsExperience with Redis, Kafka.Familiarity with TDD/BDD methodologiesExposure to cloud methodologies and experience with AWS Eligibility Criteria Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, with 3 to 5 years of experience in Information Technology or in lieu of a degree 5 to 7 years of experience in Information Technology Work Timings This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibilit
