Job Summary Synechron is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. This role focuses on delivering robust back-end services with modern .NET technologies and delivering high-quality APIs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong OOP fundamentals, solid SQL Server expertise, and a commitment to clean code, performance optimization, and reliable software delivery that supports the organization’s strategic goals. Software Requirements Required Skills (Essential) Proficiency in .NET technologies (C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework) for enterprise application development Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and web services Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures, optimization, and data modeling Proficiency with version control systems (Git; GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) Experience with development tools and methodologies in Agile/Scrum environments Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and cloud-based deployment Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3) and modern frameworks Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling Exposure to automated testing frameworks and performance optimization techniques Any Microsoft certification (e.g., MCP/MCSD/Azure Developer) is a plus Overall Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications and APIs aligned with business requirements Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX teams, and backend developers to translate requirements into technical solutions Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews and ensure quality standards Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, security, and reliability across environments Contribute to architecture decisions and implement best practices across the development lifecycle Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines; assist with automated testing and deployments Maintain functional documentation, technical specifications, and operational manuals Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team Technical Skills (By Category) Programming Languages (required and preferred) Essential: C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework Preferred: JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, PowerShell Databases/Data Management Essential: SQL Server; data modeling; stored procedures; query optimization Preferred: NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) and basic data warehousing concepts Cloud Technologies Preferred: Azure or AWS (deployment, services integration) Frameworks and Libraries Essential: ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework Preferred: WCF, REST API design patterns, modern front-end integration Development Tools and Methodologies Essential: Visual Studio, Git, Agile/Scrum practices, CI/CD familiarity Preferred: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, automated testing frameworks Security Protocols (if applicable) Essential: Secure coding practices, authentication/authorization fundamentals Preferred: OAuth, JWT, secure data handling in enterprise apps Experience Requirements 6+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development for enterprise systems Proven track record delivering maintainable, scalable applications and APIs Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to continuous delivery Domain experience in finance, banking, or other regulated industries is a plus Alternative pathways: extensive project experience with .NET-based digital platforms or relevant certifications Day-to-Day Activities Develop and maintain back-end services and RESTful APIs using .NET Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and plan iterations Perform code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust fixes Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment efforts Document architecture, coding standards, and deployment procedures Mentor junior developers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 6+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development Certifications in .NET or cloud platforms are a plus Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices Professional Competencies Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Leadership and teamwork with an ability to mentor peers Adaptability to changing requirements and new technologies Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment Proactive mindset with a focus on quality, security, and sustainable delivery SYNECHRON’S DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT Diversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
