Role Overview: You will be a part of the HEOR and RWE analytics team where you will assist in generating robust real-world evidence and analytical insights for clients in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Your responsibilities will include conducting data extraction, cleaning, manipulation, and analysis using SAS and R, performing statistical analyses using large healthcare datasets, supporting the design and execution of retrospective observational studies, and generating structured analytical outputs for reports, manuscripts, and presentations. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with project team members, contribute to internal capability building initiatives, and ensure timely delivery according to project milestones. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to retrospective database studies, statistical analyses, and evidence generation - Conduct data extraction, cleaning, manipulation, and analysis using SAS and R - Perform analyses using large healthcare datasets including US claims and EU EMR data - Support the design and execution of retrospective observational studies - Apply epidemiologic and statistical methods such as multivariable regression and propensity scoring - Generate structured analytical outputs for reports, manuscripts, and presentations - Collaborate closely with project team members and contribute to internal capability building initiatives - Ensure timely delivery according to project milestones Qualifications Required: - Masters degree or higher in Biostatistics, Data Science, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or related discipline - 2-3 years of relevant experience in HEOR RWE analytics, preferably in consulting or pharmaceutical industry - Proficiency in SAS and R for data manipulation, modeling, and visualization - Experience analyzing US claims and EU EMR databases such as CPRD, SNDS, or similar - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced consulting environment Additional Details: At Syneos Health, diversity, inclusion, and authenticity are valued in the workplace.
