Job Responsibilities Job Summary Supports training initiatives and administers the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure employees are able to access, navigate, complete and document training activities. Supports, implements, and maintains the learning platform and assets. Works with various stakeholders to gather system requirements and ensure the LMS materials meet the needs of the end-users. Research and resolve LMS functionality issues Makes recommendations for process and utilization improvements. Assists with the development, administration and/or maintenance of learning activities, events, audiences, assessments, evaluations, completions, certifications, users, and/or roles in the LMS. Identifies trends and uses this information to improve the way we deliver our learning and development programs. Identifies technical bugs and other system issues and resolves or escalates as appropriate. Assists users in resolving problems encountered in the LMS environments and escalates unresolved issues to tier 3 support. Consults with and advises training and development specialists and others regarding the structure and formatting of entries in the LMS. Provides immediate response to problems and emergency situations affecting normal operations. Provides reports to support the business and quality audits Provides quality control to new training activity assignments Works closely with appropriate external vendors to ensure efficient functionality of resources QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS B.A/B.S degree in information technology, business, human resources related field, or equivalent education and experience. Prior LMS experience preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong customer service orientation. Basic knowledge of tools such as HTML, streaming audio, video, compression methods, file types and formats Must be enterprising, diplomatic and proactive at solving problems High level of problem solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service Ability to interpret system needs and construct system processes Ability to manage and meet deadlines Proven ability to continually adapt and learn new procedures and software programs Knowledge of Web based instruction Knowledge of Learning Management System administration SumTotal and/or Cornerstone experience preferred. Performs other work-related duties as assigned. Minimal travel may be required (up to 10%).
