About the role
Job Description: The Piping Design Hull Repair Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and execution support of piping systems and hull repair activities for marine vessels and offshore structures. The role ensures compliance with classification society standards, safety regulations, and project timelines while optimizing cost and performance. Preferred Skills: Develop detailed piping layouts, isometrics, and 3D models using CAD software. Perform pipe routing considering space constraints, stress, and maintainability. Prepare material take-offs (MTO), bill of materials (BOM), and specifications. Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical teams for integrated design. Ensure compliance with class standards (ABS, DNV, Lloyds Register, etc.). Inspect vessel hull structures and identify repair requirements. Prepare repair methodologies for steel renewal, plate replacement, and structural reinforcement. Review thickness measurements and corrosion reports. Supervise or support execution of hull repair activities in dry dock or afloat. Ensure adherence to welding procedures and quality standards. Preferred Experinece: 3-6 Years
