Industry : Engineering Design Services Consultancy / Projects Specialization : Building / Residential , Commercial , Design Role : Design Engineer Qualification : BE / B.Tech ( Engineering ) (Electrical/ECE ) Experience : 5 to 6 Years in Similar Field Knowledge Strong knowledge of ELV systems: CCTV Systems Access Control Systems Public Address (PA) Systems Structured Cabling (Data Voice) Audio-Visual (AV) Systems BMS and Home Automation Familiarity with industry codes and standards: NFPA, SIRA, or local civil defense requirements. Proficiency in using ELV testing tools like CCTV testers, cable testers, and fire alarm panels. Understanding of data network infrastructure and fiber optic systems (optional but preferred). Responsibilities Install and configure ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, Structured Cabling, Fire Alarm, IPTV, and Building Management Systems (BMS). Perform regular preventive maintenance and repairs on ELV systems. Read and interpret system layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Test and commission ELV systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with project standards. Coordinate with other services (Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Fighting) for system integration. Troubleshoot and rectify faults in ELV systems promptly. Maintain accurate service records, reports, and equipment logs. Ensure ELV installations comply with local and international codes such as NFPA, SIRA, or equivalent. Support the project team in technical documentation, handover, and client training. Participate in project site meetings and provide technical recommendations when needed.
