About the role
Role Overview: Syngenta, a leading agriculture innovation company, is dedicated to improving global food security by enabling farmers to make better use of available resources. As a technical lead, you will play a vital role in enabling digital science across Crop Protection Research and Development (CP R&D) by supporting teams in delivering a significant transformation across laboratories globally. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for connected laboratories and IIoT across Syngenta and vendor development teams. - Ensure compliance with Syngenta and industry standards and regulations. - Define common elements, patterns, and standards to facilitate software reuse across the domain. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with architectural standards. - Participate in vendor selection and management for key technology solutions. - Play a key role in the architecture community setting direction and best practice across R&D. Qualifications Required: - 5 years of proven track record as a hands-on solution architect or enterprise architect with a strong foundation in Software Engineering. - Hands-on work with coding skills is required. - Proven experience in connecting devices, IIoT, and utilizing data sets. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, AWS essential. - University Bachelor's or Master's Degree in software engineering, Information technology, or comparable field is essential. - Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, iSAQB or TOGAF Foundation. - Fluency in English.
