Full Stack Developer

Job Summary:

Client is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong React development background and operational support experience to support a suite of customer-facing web applications and data-driven solutions.

This individual will work closely with UI/UX designers, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to design, develop, maintain, and enhance modern web applications.

In addition to software development responsibilities, this role serves as a critical operational support resource, ensuring application reliability, performance, and continuous improvement across the technology portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using React and related JavaScript technologies

• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end solutions while collaborating closely with UI/UX teams

• Integrate internal and third-party APIs into enterprise applications

• Develop and maintain unit tests and end-to-end testing frameworks

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while maintaining system stability

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, application configurations, and system designs

• Participate in architecture, planning, design, and implementation activities across multiple projects

• Provide Level 3 and Level 4 application support, serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues

• Monitor application performance, respond to incidents, and implement hotfixes as necessary

• Drive operational excellence through automation, process improvement, and proactive monitoring

• Create technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and support runbooks

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to internal and external development resources

• Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, full stack development, or related technical roles

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Strong experience developing end-to-end web applications using React

• Experience working closely with UI/UX teams and translating wireframes into production-ready applications

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices

• Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting complex technical issues

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Technical Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Browser APIs, and browser developer tools

• 5+ years of experience with React, Redux, Node.js, REST APIs, Git, and Unit Testing

• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript

• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript features

• Experience with asynchronous programming and functional design patterns

• Experience working in Linux environments (WSL preferred)

• Ability to write scalable, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Experience leading or mentoring development teams

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications

• Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries

• Experience collaborating with global teams across North America and Europe

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and large-scale software implementations

• Strong focus on application reliability, observability, and operational excellence
