Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license and 4–8 years of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will lead mechanical system design, perform technical calculations, prepare construction documents, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical equipment layouts.

Prepare engineering calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selection.

Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.

Conduct site visits, inspections, and field verifications.

Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, civil engineers, and contractors.

Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.

Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and designers.

Support project management activities and client communications.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited).

Professional Engineer (PE) License – Required.

4–8 years of professional mechanical engineering experience.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and mechanical design principles.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and load calculation software.

Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

Experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience with ASHRAE standards, NFPA codes, and local building regulations.

Energy modeling and sustainability project experience.

Project leadership and client-facing exposure.

All candidates exp must be directly tied to MEP design engineering for building construction documents.

Must have Revit Experience.

Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
