Resident Engineer Civil Construction-II

We are a multinational engineering firm with a longstanding history in Mass Rapid Transit and related infrastructure. We are currently seeking a Resident Engineer (CivilConstruction) to lead the redevelopment of Ahmedabad Railway Station and associated infrastructure under the RLDA project. Responsibilities Assist the Chief Resident Engineer in supervising construction and ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. Monitor progress against the construction schedule, review contractor reports, and report delays to the Project Director and stakeholders. Supervise inspections of works, enforce safety and quality standards, and manage safety during traffic operations. Certify contractor measurement sheets and IPC. Coordinate closely with the client, stakeholders and authorities. Ensure compliance with safety standards. Perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Resident Engineer. Qualifications B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Minimum 12 years of overall experience, including 6 years in a similar resident engineer role and 8 years in qualifying projects. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to work in a culturally diverse organization and respect differences. Strong problemsolving skills in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices. Selfmotivated with outstanding leadership, able to influence without authority. Experience leading teams, making independent decisions, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of Systra Group policies, ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, and ethical practices. .
