About the role
As an experienced and highly motivated Information Security professional, you will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide cyber security initiatives, strengthening cyber defence operations, and driving information security governance across the organization. Your expertise in cyber security operations, risk management, threat mitigation, security architecture, and regulatory compliance will be crucial in this role. You must possess strong leadership capabilities, hands-on technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a resilient cyber security posture. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage Security Operations Center (SOC) and Cyber Defence Center initiatives - Monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber threats, incidents, and vulnerabilities - Implement proactive threat detection and incident response strategies - Drive zero-day attack prevention and advanced threat protection mechanisms - Define and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures - Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies - Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and data privacy laws - Design and implement secure enterprise security solutions - Manage Web Application Firewall (WAF), endpoint security, SIEM, DLP, IAM, and network security technologies - Identify cyber risks and align mitigation strategies with business objectives - Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing reviews - Lead and mentor cyber security teams and analysts - Present security updates, risk posture, and recommendations to leadership - Conduct security awareness and cyber hygiene programs organization-wide Required Skills & Expertise: - Cyber Security Operations - Information Security Management - Incident Response & Threat Hunting - SOC & Cyber Defence Center Management - Vulnerability Management - SIEM & Security Monitoring Tools - WAF / Network Security - Cloud Security Concepts - Security Risk Assessment - Regulatory Compliance & Governance - Data Privacy & Protection - Security Awareness Programs Preferred Certifications: - CISM - CISSP - CEH - ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor - DSCI Certified Privacy Lead Assessor (DCPLA) - Any advanced cyber defence or cloud security certifications Preferred Industry Experience: - BFSI / Mutual Fund / Financial Services - Enterprise Security Operations - Cyber Defence & Threat Intelligence Environments Educational Qualification: - Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science - Additional certifications in cyber security preferred In addition to the outlined responsibilities and qualifications, the ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, a passion for cyber security and emerging technologies, the ability to work in high-pressure security environments, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and proven experience in building cyber resilience programs.
