Job Title: Hadoop Operations Number of Position: 3 Location: Remote Timings: Night Shift (6:30 PM - 4:30 AM IST) Coverage: Eyes-in-glass rotation WD watch / WE duty / Secondary (3-week cycle); all Isilon-trained Core Skills & Competencies Quadrazene Platform Operations: Ticket creation, alert acknowledgement and enrichment, HITL queue management, and SLA clock management within the Quadrazene platform Monitoring & Alerting: Prometheus / Alertmanager alert triage, Grafana dashboard operations, SNMP trap handling, Ambari health checks Isilon / OneFS Basics: Health monitoring, storage capacity tracking, basic node/drive health ops all three L1s cross-trained on Isilon Hadoop First-Response: L1 Hadoop platform troubleshooting, Hive/Spark/HBase job failure first triage, YARN queue and job status assessment Incident & Shift Management: First-response SLA clock discipline, structured shift reporting, handoff documentation, escalation runbooks Databricks Competency: Familiarity with Databricks workspace operations job monitoring, cluster health checks, alerting integrations, and basic triage of Databricks Spark job failures before escalating to the SME Responsibilities Eyes-in-glass during assigned WD (weekdays, 11 AM9 PM CT) and WE (SatSun, full day) weeks First-line alert acknowledgement and initial triage via Quadrazene Quadrazene ticket creation, enrichment with telemetry context, and SLA clock tracking Escalation to Offshore SME within defined SLA windows (Sev1 within 15 min) Secondary week: ticket queue management, runbook operations, documentation, training Shift handoff notes and platform health digest for incoming watch Backup escalation coverage when the primary watch L1 needs support .
