As a Chief Agentic Systems Architect, you will play a crucial role in transforming legacy platforms into high-velocity, AI-native, agent-operable systems. Your responsibilities will include operating at the intersection of software design, AI-agent orchestration, and engineering governance to build systems where autonomous agents can safely write, refactor, and ship production code. Key Responsibilities: - Transform 10+ year legacy systems into modular, scalable architectures for AI-driven execution - Break down monoliths into modular, agent-readable systems - Drive modernization using the Strangler Pattern - Implement SOLID principles, Dependency Injection & Hexagonal Architecture - Design AI context layers (Skills, Rules, Commands) - Build Model Context Protocol (MCP) interfaces - Lead contract-first API architecture for AI-agent interaction - Act as gatekeeper for AI-generated code - Enforce TDD and robust testing frameworks - Optimize agent workflows for speed, cost & reliability Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of experience in software architecture / platform engineering - Strong background in modernizing complex legacy systems - Hands-on expertise in TypeScript, .NET, Node.js - Deep understanding of distributed systems & API design - Experience with LLMs, AI-assisted development, or agentic systems - Strong bias for clean, scalable, production-grade systems This is not just a role to add AI features, but a significant opportunity to shape the future of engineering by building the foundation where AI can autonomously create and evolve software. Join us in redefining how software is built in the AI era.
