As a Data Engineer in our FinTech domain, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured financial data. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured financial data. - Building and optimizing batch and real-time data processing systems. - Integrating market, financial, and alternative data sources into centralized data platforms. - Developing robust data models, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures. - Ensuring high standards of data quality, governance, security, and compliance. - Collaborating with AI/ML teams to support intelligent automation and analytics initiatives. - Optimizing data infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability. - Participating in architecture reviews and contributing to technical design decisions. - Implementing CI/CD and DevOps best practices for data engineering workflows. The qualifications required for this role include: - Python - SQL - ETL/ELT Development - Databricks - Apache Spark - Apache Kafka - Data Warehousing - Lakehouse Architecture - Streaming Data - Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - CI/CD - DevOps - Data Governance - API Integration In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the preferred experience for this role includes: - FinTech, Investment Research, Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services domain experience. - Experience working with large-scale data platforms and distributed systems. - Strong understanding of cloud-native data engineering architectures. If you have 5+ years of Data Engineering experience using Python and SQL, worked with Databricks, Spark, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and have experience building real-time or batch data pipelines in FinTech or financial services environments, we would like to hear from you. Please note that the work location for this position is a hybrid remote setup in Bangalore City, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
